Liz Todd

Liz Todd is a sewist and designer based in Los Angeles, CA. Sewing and designing are her absolute favorite things to do! She has made over 60 costumes and original designs for herself and others since she began sewing in 2011, and her work has placed in twelve different craftsmanship competitions. Some notable awards and commendations include earning “Best in Show” at Tucson Comic Con’s Masquerade in 2017, “Best in Show” at San Diego Comic Con in 2018, placing as runner up in the needlework category of Emerald City Comic Con’s “Western Championships of Cosplay,” and being chosen to participate as a Designer Finalist in the 2019 and 2022 Her Universe Fashion Show. She enjoys participating as a panelist and craftsmanship judge for several west coast conventions, fabric shopping for her next project, and creating digital art. She earned her Associate’s Degree in Fashion Design at FIDM in Los Angeles, and has been fortunate in her career to work on exciting projects with companies such as Walt Disney Imagineering, Husqvarna Viking, Her Universe, and Hot Topic. As a former teacher, she is a life-long learner and is always looking to learn new creative skills!
